In addition to the standard classes of maritime vessel, ALC Group is regularly appointed to appraise shipyards, specialized built assets and maritime shore assets and cranes.

As an approved maritime valuer, most of our valuation assignments are commissioned by major banks, audit firms, financial institutions, legal firms, insurance underwriters and ship owners. In recent years, there has been a growing number of appointments to act for parties in significant maritime Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) deals.

ALC Group sits on a selected panel of only three firms to act for Singapore Sheriff Court in admiralty appraisals for legal disputes and ship arrests. To meet the stringent requirements in qualifying as an approved maritime valuer, ALC holds significant professional indemnity cover specifically for our appraisal services.
